What to do if Discord is not working
- Check whether messages show a pending or clock icon: that means Discord can't reach its servers from your device.
- Toggle airplane mode on and off to force a fresh network connection, then reopen Discord.
- Make sure Discord is allowed to use background data and isn't restricted by battery saver.
- For calls, close other apps using the camera or microphone and check Discord has permission to use them.
- Try the desktop or web version of Discord. If it works there, update or reinstall the mobile app.
- If notifications stopped, check your phone's Focus / Do Not Disturb settings and Discord's notification settings.

Is Discord down for everyone, or just me?

We connect to discord.com directly from our servers, so if our check works but Discord doesn't work for you, the problem is more likely your device, network or account. If our check fails, or reports have jumped in the last hour, Discord is probably having a wider outage.
Why does this page say Discord is up when it isn't working for me?
Our check confirms that discord.com is reachable and responding. An outage can still affect only part of Discord, such as logging in, the mobile app or a single feature, or only some regions. That's why visitor reports matter: when many people report problems at once, we flag Discord as having problems even if the website loads.
