What to do if Bluesky is not working
- Pull down to refresh, then fully close and reopen the Bluesky app.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data. If Bluesky works on one but not the other, the problem is your network, not Bluesky.
- Try Bluesky in a web browser. If the website works but the app does not, update the app from your app store.
- Log out and back in only as a last resort: during an outage, logins often fail and you can get stuck signed out.
- Clear the app cache (Android: Settings → Apps → Bluesky → Storage) or reinstall the app on iPhone.
- If posts or uploads fail, wait a few minutes before retrying so you don't create duplicates.

Is Bluesky down for everyone, or just me?
Look at the status at the top of this page. We connect to bsky.app directly from our servers, so if our check works but Bluesky doesn't work for you, the problem is more likely your device, network or account. If our check fails, or reports have jumped in the last hour, Bluesky is probably having a wider outage.
Why does this page say Bluesky is up when it isn't working for me?
Our check confirms that bsky.app is reachable and responding. An outage can still affect only part of Bluesky, such as logging in, the mobile app or a single feature, or only some regions. That's why visitor reports matter: when many people report problems at once, we flag Bluesky as having problems even if the website loads.

We check Bluesky automatically several times a day, and again whenever someone opens this page and our last check is more than a few minutes old.
