What to do if Tesla App is not working
- Restart the Tesla App app and your phone, then check whether the problem is in the app or the device.
- For smart-home devices, power-cycle the device and your router. Most go offline when Wi-Fi drops.
- Make sure Bluetooth and location permissions are on for Tesla App. Device syncing often depends on them.
- Don't factory-reset devices during an outage. You may have to set everything up again once Tesla App is back.
- Check whether the Tesla App app has an update. Old versions often stop syncing after server-side changes.
- If messages or matches aren't loading, log out and back in only after confirming Tesla App is up.
