What to do if Plusnet is not working
- Restart your modem and router: unplug both for 30 seconds, plug the modem in first, wait for it to connect, then the router.
- Check the lights on your modem. A blinking or red internet light usually means a Plusnet line or area outage.
- Sign in to the Plusnet app on mobile data. It can show outages at your address and estimated repair times.
- For mobile signal problems, toggle airplane mode, restart your phone, and check for a carrier settings update.
- If neighbours on Plusnet also have problems, it's an area outage. Ask Plusnet for a bill credit once it's fixed.
- Plug a computer directly into the modem with a cable to rule out a Wi-Fi problem in your home.
