What to do if Sky is not working
- Restart your modem and router: unplug both for 30 seconds, plug the modem in first, wait for it to connect, then the router.
- Check the lights on your modem. A blinking or red internet light usually means a Sky line or area outage.
- Sign in to the Sky app on mobile data. It can show outages at your address and estimated repair times.
- For mobile signal problems, toggle airplane mode, restart your phone, and check for a carrier settings update.
- If neighbours on Sky also have problems, it's an area outage. Ask Sky for a bill credit once it's fixed.
- Plug a computer directly into the modem with a cable to rule out a Wi-Fi problem in your home.

Is Sky down for everyone, or just me?

We connect to sky.com directly from our servers, so if our check works but Sky doesn't work for you, the problem is more likely your device, network or account. If our check fails, or reports have jumped in the last hour, Sky is probably having a wider outage.
Why does this page say Sky is up when it isn't working for me?
Our check confirms that sky.com is reachable and responding. An outage can still affect only part of Sky, such as logging in, the mobile app or a single feature, or only some regions.
