What to do if TIDAL is not working

  1. Switch TIDAL to offline mode and play something you've downloaded. If that works, TIDAL can't reach its servers.
  2. Log out of TIDAL on all devices you're not using. Too many active sessions can stop playback.
  3. Check that Bluetooth or your speaker output is pointing to the device you expect.
  4. Clear the TIDAL cache in its settings, or reinstall the app if it keeps crashing.
  5. Free up storage on your phone. Downloads and caching fail silently when the device is almost full.
  6. Try the TIDAL web player. If the web player works, the problem is the app on your device.

TIDAL outage FAQ

Is TIDAL down for everyone, or just me?

Look at the status at the top of this page. We connect to tidal.com directly from our servers, so if our check works but TIDAL doesn't work for you, the problem is more likely your device, network or account. If our check fails, or reports have jumped in the last hour, TIDAL is probably having a wider outage.

Why does this page say TIDAL is up when it isn't working for me?

Our check confirms that tidal.com is reachable and responding. An outage can still affect only part of TIDAL, such as logging in, the mobile app or a single feature, or only some regions. That's why visitor reports matter: when many people report problems at once, we flag TIDAL as having problems even if the website loads.

How often do you check TIDAL?

We check TIDAL automatically several times a day, and again whenever someone opens this page and our last check is more than a few minutes old.

How do I report a TIDAL outage?

Use "Report a problem" on this page to tell us what isn't working. Reports are anonymous: we don't store your IP address, only a one-way code that stops the same person reporting many times, plus your country.
