What to do if GeForce NOW is not working
- Check whether GeForce NOW is in scheduled maintenance. Many games take servers down for updates, often on weekday mornings.
- Fully restart the game and the launcher or console, not just the match.
- Use a wired Ethernet connection if you can. Wi-Fi often causes lag and disconnects that look like server problems.
- Install any pending game or system updates. GeForce NOW often blocks older versions from connecting.
- Verify or repair the game files in your launcher if the game crashes on start.
- If you're stuck in a login queue, leave it running. Re-joining usually sends you to the back of the queue.
GeForce NOW outage FAQ
Is GeForce NOW down for everyone, or just me?
Look at the status at the top of this page. We connect to nvidia.com directly from our servers, so if our check works but GeForce NOW doesn't work for you, the problem is more likely your device, network or account. If our check fails, or reports have jumped in the last hour, GeForce NOW is probably having a wider outage.
Why does this page say GeForce NOW is up when it isn't working for me?
Our check confirms that nvidia.com is reachable and responding. An outage can still affect only part of GeForce NOW, such as logging in, the mobile app or a single feature, or only some regions. That's why visitor reports matter: when many people report problems at once, we flag GeForce NOW as having problems even if the website loads.
How often do you check GeForce NOW?
We check GeForce NOW automatically several times a day, and again whenever someone opens this page and our last check is more than a few minutes old.
How do I report a GeForce NOW outage?
Use "Report a problem" on this page to tell us what isn't working. Reports are anonymous: we don't store your IP address, only a one-way code that stops the same person reporting many times, plus your country.
